now I submitted ibus stuff in M17N repo to FACTORY. Some packages are still under evaluation by autobuild team, but the basic packages have been checked in.
I looked through the package list, then found that some ibus-table-* packages still remain like below. ibus-table-jyutping
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jyutping. I never used it, and I think it should be useful for people who lived in Hong Kong or Guangdong province.
ibus-table-xinhua
Also I never used this one before and searched from internet. I think it is a kind of Pinyin input method, but with some optimization and maybe with a kind of commercial software license (I am not pretty sure about this). I think we can follow upstream to drop it.
ibus-table-zhengma
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhengma_method. It is not widely used for simple Chinese input, but it is better to keep it as some ones from specific industry may need it and windows also has it. We don't need to install it by default during installation but we can let end-users choose to install it later.
ibus-table-zhuyin
It is useful for people who lived in TW. We can keep it, but I am not sure if it needs to be installed by default for Traditional Chinese language or not. Need some one who uses traditional Chinese language gives some advice.
ibus-table-ziranma
I suggest that as zhengma, we don't install it and let end-user to install it later. Thanks, Joey Zheng -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-m17n+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-m17n+help@opensuse.org
