I'd like to enhance the section about LXDE at; http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Upcoming_features Could you tell me a bit what's so great about the new LXDE (what version?) - and what we're doing additionally? If some of you update the wiki, it would be great - but I can also collect what you write via email, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger aj@{suse.com,opensuse.org} Twitter/Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+owner@opensuse.org

Andreas -- Linux User 183145 using LXDE and KDE4 on a Pentium IV ,
I have running LXDE also on my Pentium IV machine. I like KDE much but sometimes I meet problems with the speed of the machine when KDE has some internal problems. The switch to LXDE is painless and I work in LXDE until I think the problems with KDE could have been solved. Like the simplicity of LXDE and I do have everything I use in KDE without problems. Would say that LXDE is a first for Pentium III and below.
