zypper se -sir X11:lxde gave a full list of lxde files. The first thing I did after that was reinstalling LXDE with the 1-click install. Must have had some unexpected bug the first time because now I have a working LXDE system. One thing which I found strange though, in the documents somewhere is mentioned that the preferred upstream branding of lxde would be the opensuse which I choose. The one click install installed the lxde- common-branding-upstream and now it works. lxde-common-branding-openSUSE is the suggested one.
