Hi, on funtoo linux, which I use at home, lxqt-config has a lot of lxqt specific settings. like adjusting the lxqt theme for example. i just installed lxqt on tumbleweed and it seems those things are missing, though i dont know why. It looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/WcULjQI.png However on the lizards page i found a image which contains the stuff i am looking for: https://lizards.opensuse.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/lxqt-config-center.p... see power management and appearance for example. could someone explain this to me? regards, -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+owner@opensuse.org
I found the problem. In [1] you change the OnlyShowIn and Categories section of the desktop file from LXQt, to X-LXQt. What is the reason for that? Actually it's the problem causing that not all entries are displayed in lxqt-config, since LXQt looks for "LXQt". Maybe you can explain me why this change was made. I applied for maintianership in X11:LXDE today, and got accepted. In case noone replies within a week, or someone can confirm that X-LXQt qas a mistake I will patch all desktop files and upload the changes. Furthermore I would also apply here on this mailing list to become a member of you and help maintaining LXQt on openSUSE. Maybe someobody could give me instructions on how you operate and what else there is to know. kind regards, Michael 1: https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/X11:lxde/lxqt-config/fix_deskto...
