Alright. If might be able to help you guys with that. Will try to find info in the wiki on it. But somehow it's already funny, that you can include the packages, so users can install LXQt by themselves (who gives them support then?) but not the pattern, which would ease up the installation process for the users because of support :-) On 05/27/2015 12:23 PM, Andrea Florio wrote:
is only in the X11:lxde and not in factory/tumbleweed because there is no body able to really support it or take care of bug reports.

Thanks for your reply Andrea.
But the LXQt pattern is only here https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/X11:lxde/_pattern/LXQT?expand=1 and not in tumbleweed if i am not mistaken. my question is: why?

Hi,
yes we are somehow active, we package and update what we have.
honestly, in my opinion, tumbleweed is a bad copy of the old factory. i just removed suse factory repo and added tumbleweed. still i would recommend you to use tumbleweed.

Hi,
I read https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:LXDE joined #opensuse-lxde and took a look at the mailing list archives. Which makes me think? Are you guys still active?
I am interested in LXQt.
I am using tumbleweed, at it seems I have most recent versions of LXQt available, so you guys seem to be active a bit. However, the X11:lxde repository has an LXQt pattern[1], which is not in tumbleweed. Is there a reason for that?
