bindings and casts
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi I experienced problems by using YEvent, YItem and Cell access in YTable. The big problem in perl bindings is to get the cast from Yitem to YtableItem, as well as from YEvent to YXXXEvent. But also accessing to to Items by using childrenBegin and childrenEnd, there is no way to increment the iterator. http://www.swig.org/Doc1.3/Perl5.html#Perl5_nn18 says that there is a way to add functions to do that, indeed I used to implement all the cast i needed in my external widget plugin. I wonder if we can study a way to get rid of this problem? I don't know if ruby and python are also affected.
