It's the exact same issue I have (same logs, same comportment). I'm answering here as the login/register form that the bugzilla points to aren't working for me.

No, transactional-update can only roll back to previous snapshots created on that system. If you are very experimental you may try to disable the current repositories and use an older one from http://download.opensuse.org/history/ instead - or just try to install an older version of the corresponding package from one of those previous repository snapshots...
