[opensuse-kubic] Unable to start a multi-master cluster with automatic loadbalancing
Hi all, I'm running opensuse kubic on the latest snapshot (20200504). I've installed a master and a load balancer. Then I accept the last minion of the load balancer on the master. But when I try to deploy my environment I get the following error : +--- kubicctl init --haproxy balancer.local --multi-master balancer.local (balancer.local: Minion did not return. [No response]) +--- My minion name is balancer.local and it is also the hostame that my DHCP attributes to him. How could I debug this issue ? Thanks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kubic+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kubic+owner@opensuse.org

We're working on this issue under the following bug: http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1171257 Confirming that you're seeing exactly the same issue would be a help, as well as any other insights or contributions you can manage :) Thanks! -- Richard Brown Linux Distribution Engineer - Future Technology Team Phone +4991174053-361 SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuernberg (HRB 36809, AG Nürnberg) Geschäftsführer: Felix Imendörffer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kubic+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kubic+owner@opensuse.org
It's the exact same issue I have (same logs, same comportment). I'm answering here as the login/register form that the bugzilla points to aren't working for me.

Is there a quick fix I could apply to my system ? Is transactional-update apple to do a downgrade (I'm not talking of a rollback) ?For example can I downgrade to a previous snapshot even if I just installed my system using the latest ISO ?

No, transactional-update can only roll back to previous snapshots created on that system. If you are very experimental you may try to disable the current repositories and use an older one from http://download.opensuse.org/history/ instead - or just try to install an older version of the corresponding package from one of those previous repository snapshots...
