[kubic-bugs] [Bug 1114818] New: New kubeadm NTP screen does not prefill ntp.org pool servers
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1114818 Bug ID: 1114818 Summary: New kubeadm NTP screen does not prefill ntp.org pool servers Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: rbrown@suse.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com CC: kubic-bugs@opensuse.org, lslezak@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- The new kubeadm NTP screen in Kubic does not correctly prefil the NTP server field as described in https://en.opensuse.org/Kubic:CaaSPInstallationComparision EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: "NTP server (chrony) (prefill field with dhcp answer, if there is no dhcp, prefill with ntp pool server if allowed, else leave empty and warn if it stays empty, no hard error)" ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR: NTP Server field does prefil with DHCP answer when it's available, but when it's not available it does not prefill with ntp.org pool servers (eg. 0.opensuse.pool.ntp.org, 1.opensuse.pool.ntp.org, 2.opensuse.pool.ntp.org, etc) Also, there is a cosmetic error - the screen says "Admin node configuration" when it should say "kubeadm node configuration" (the kubeadm nodes are not always admin nodes) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I'm a bit puzzled, with CaaSP v4 we don't have any special YaST installer.
Should this bug be filed against v3?
Because the openQA test is for "caasp-4.0-DVD-x86_64-Build7.4-CaaSP-admin@caasp_x86_64" I dont care what you file it against, I just want the endless amount of unwanted spam from this bug to end, and CaaSP QA is not an area I have any influence on, so I refiled the bug appropriately. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

The openQA test is running against CaaSP v4 Beta 1, which is still based on the old architecture. I think we can completely drop this test because it's no longer relevant with the new architecture. Adding Tomas and Martin to CC, they are the experts on the topic. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

CaaSP QA is not an area I have any influence on This is openQA test - you have both webUI admin & merge rights.
Closing since as you said, this is NOT A BUG for SLE/CaaSP products. Please open progress issue (assign to me) so we can track it in proper place. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
