[Bug 1217448] New: [Build 20231122] openQA test fails in image_checks: Root FS not resized
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1217448 Bug ID: 1217448 Summary: [Build 20231122] openQA test fails in image_checks: Root FS not resized Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other URL: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3750101/modules/imag e_checks/steps/9 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: MicroOS Assignee: kubic-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: fvogt@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Target Milestone: --- Found By: openQA Blocker: Yes The MicroOS VMX images don't grow / automatically. The openQA test didn't detect this because sfdisk does not show any unpartitioned space because of the backup GPT mismatch. Best option is probably to enable growpart + resizefs unconditionally, but there's a race condition with the / remount (boo#1156421). ## Observation openQA test in scenario microos-Tumbleweed-MicroOS-Image-x86_64-microos@64bit fails in [image_checks](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3750101/modules/image_checks/steps/9) ## Test suite description ## Reproducible Fails since (at least) Build [20231122](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3750101) (current job) ## Expected result Last good: [20231121](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3747803) (or more recent) ## Further details Always latest result in this scenario: [latest](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/latest?arch=x86_64&distri=microos&flavor=MicroOS-Image&machine=64bit&test=microos&version=Tumbleweed) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
