[opensuse-kernel] opensuse 10.3 kernels
Does the default 32 bit kernel install on 10.3 have PAE enabled? If not can you enable PAE on a 32 bit install? Thanks, Stephen Shaw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org

The default kernel does not, but the bigsmp kernel does. - -Jeff - -- Jeff Mahoney SUSE Labs -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4-svn0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGuOwvLPWxlyuTD7IRApCBAJ0chiJe3wGk+v9rpxCtHwBHRs41dgCdHTdc Z7QjdNypkCQaCDmy+Qj9veo= =SECK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
What else does the bigsmp come with, other than PAE? Thanks for the reply, Stephen

The only differences should be 64GB support and support for 128 CPUs instead of 32. In reality there are a few other difference that I'm seeing in the config file, but I think they may be more of an oversight than any intent. - -Jeff - -- Jeff Mahoney SUSE Labs -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4-svn0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGuPCILPWxlyuTD7IRAhf8AJ4zu8DrjiSqM2LkJ5oGsSo7bwo18QCdGT6D VAQSTfn9RhwYC1uqBWJo5rs= =ngt7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
