[opensuse-kernel] KMP building hosed since 2.6.36-rc
Hi, Starting with 2.6.36.0_rc4, KMP building is hosed. In security:netfilter/xtables-addons's buildlog for openSUSE_Factory/x86_64 I can find: + exec rpmbuild -ba --define '_srcdefattr (-,root,root)' --define 'disturl obs:/ /build.opensuse.org/security:netfilter/openSUSE_Factory/3420749138d66ecbf71d1fbb e3f4bd8c-xtables-addons' --eval %suse_insert_debug_package //usr/src/packages/SOU RCES/xtables-addons.spec /usr/src/linux-2.6.36-rc4-16/scripts/basic/fixdep.c:398:1: fatal error: opening dependency file scripts/basic/.fixdep.d: Permission denied compilation terminated. make[4]: *** [scripts/basic/fixdep] Error 1 make[3]: *** [scripts_basic] Error 2 /usr/src/linux-2.6.36-rc4-16/scripts/basic/fixdep.c:398:1: fatal error: opening dependency file scripts/basic/.fixdep.d: Permission denied compilation terminated. make[4]: *** [scripts/basic/fixdep] Error 1 make[3]: *** [scripts_basic] Error 2 /bin/sh: /usr/src/linux-2.6.36-rc4-16-obj/x86_64/xen/scripts/Makefile.xen: /Permission denied /usr/src/linux-2.6.36-rc4-16/scripts/basic/fixdep.c:398:1: fatal error: opening /dependency file scripts/basic/.fixdep.d: Permission denied compilation terminated. make[4]: *** [scripts/basic/fixdep] Error 1 make[3]: *** [scripts_basic] Error 2 sh: line 14: [: too many arguments Probably a result of evaluating %kernel_module_package. Anyhow, it's broken. I still see that it went successfully with the previous factory kernel: (download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/) [ ] xtables-addons-1.27-1.1.x86_64.rpm [ ] xtables-addons-1.30-1.1.x86_64.rpm [ ] xtables-addons-kmp-default-1.27_k2.6.34.0_12-1.1.x86_64.rpm [ ] xtables-addons-kmp-default-1.30_k2.6.36.0_rc4_16-1.1.x86_64.rpm [ ] xtables-addons-kmp-desktop-1.27_k2.6.34.0_12-1.1.x86_64.rpm [ ] xtables-addons-kmp-desktop-1.30_k2.6.36.0_rc4_16-1.1.x86_64.rpm [ ] xtables-addons-kmp-xen-1.27_k2.6.34.0_12-1.1.x86_64.rpm Jan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
