Yeah, but apparently the machine is now working somewhat stable booting with pci=noacpi .. I wonder what is the more lightweight hammer, acpI=noirq or pci=noacpi ?
Iirc this should not matter much.
Update: at least with the latest BIOS, and latest kernel the following single options work (not combined) pci=noacpi --> It works acpi=noirq --> it works with the side effect that ASPM doesnt work. intremap=off --> Works No ASPM. nox2apic --> works, aspm fails.
