[opensuse-kernel] kernel configuation for kernel-source-2.6.27-rc8.HEAD_20080930174745
The kernel-source rpms used to provide the configuration used by the SUSE kernels in arch/{i386,x86_64}/defconfig.* . These files are missing in kernel-source-2.6.27-rc8.HEAD_20080930174745. The config files are still in /usr/src/linux-obj/$arch/$flavor/.config, and if kernel-syms is installed, /lib/modules/$KERNELRELEASE/build/.config points there as well. Does this work for you? They would have been missing for a while, I expect. arch/{i386,x86_64} were eliminated in mainline in 2.6.25 when the two architectures were unified under arch/x86.
