[opensuse-kernel] Bugzilla: Default assignee for Kernel component has changed
Hi all - The default assignee for the kernel component for both SLE and openSUSE releases in Bugzilla has been kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com for many years. As part of the separation of SUSE and Micro Focus, we will lose access to manage that list. As a result, we've changed the default assignee for the kernel component for both SLE and openSUSE releases. The new default assignee for openSUSE kernel bugs is: kernel-bugs@opensuse.org Any scripts or searches that used the old address will need to be updated to use the new address. Now that the kernel component for openSUSE has a separate mailing list, community members who want to subscribe to the kernel bug firehose are able to do so if they choose. Thanks, -Jeff -- Jeff Mahoney Director, SUSE Labs Data & Performance

There are still quite some bugs with the old novell ML assigned. I suppose as part of the process they will be re-assign them to the new list. If not, I can take care of that. Regards, Matthias

I changed the old account email to kernel-bugs+old@opensuse.org so if the mail server config allows to receive those, updates could still be delivered. Needs testing. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

It seems, that address does not work, so I changed it back for now. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

Hm, I somehow forgot about this. So I just changed the assignee from kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com to kernel-bugs@suse.de for all of them... Hope that was OK, otherwise I can switch back to the old address. Actually I don't know why we would like to have kernel-bugs+old@opensuse.org I suppose assign them to that email is the same as just close them as won't fix.
