[opensuse-kernel] S/390 as a gaming platform
Hi Jeff, As part of commit 92db3f1a: Author: Jeff Mahoney <jeffm@suse.com> Date: Fri Nov 15 17:53:40 2013 -0500 config: build uncommon HID drivers as modules you set CONFIG_INPUT_FF_MEMLESS=m in all s390x config files. I can only guess this was by mistake and you aren't really playing car racing or other games on your S/390 systems, right? :D So I would like to revert that change. Heh, yep. That was an "all platforms" change that got caught up on s/390. Thanks, -Jeff -- Jeff Mahoney (apologies for the top post -- from my mobile)

Back in the 80s, Space Invaders could be played on the system console. :-) -- Per Jessen, Zürich (10.3°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

I've just noticed that CONFIG_INPUT_FF_MEMLESS has also been enabled in our EC2 kernel flavors since day 1. I'll turn that off as well... -- Jean Delvare SUSE L3 Support -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

Oh, and BTW, now that we have CONFIG_EXPERT=y, we have the opportunity to turn off all the HID drivers for non-standard keyboards and mice (e.g. HID_A4TECH, HID_APPLE, HID_BELKIN etc...) in EC2 kernel configs. I don't think they are needed at all there, right? So I'll turn them all off unless someone objects quickly. -- Jean Delvare SUSE L3 Support -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
