[opensuse-kernel] I would like to package kernel
How I can package the kernel OpenSUSE style? If someone like to help participate can contact me. The reason is to have a version without blobs. I assume the first thing you need to do is create a OBS account and within that account setup the basic opensuse kernel packages. ie. Once you have and account, from the command line of your workstation: osc linkpac openSUSE:11.3 kernel-source home:$login for p in kernel-{default,desktop,pae,xen,vanilla,syms}; do osc linkpac -C copy home:$login kernel-source home:$login $p done where $login is replaced with your account_id in both places. Then you can apply patches adding a patches.addon.tar.bz2 file to the kernel-source package. Don't try renaming things. Just use the names exactly as above.
