I am new to this list so here goes an attempt. I have openSuSE1.3 latest version "Teal" on a i686 machine with about everything NVidia. I have an AGP 8x card that used to work correctly with NVidia.run including 3D. However, now under nouveau programs fail. Like a self compiled Flightgear (fgfs) and openSuSE's Blender 2.49b. Both fail with a "nv40_screen_get_param:68 - Unknown PIPE_CAP 29" error. Besides nouveau missing <CTRL><ALT>+/- function. questions 1. Can nouveau be completely removed? 2. Install NV.run to resolve the problem? 3. Is this going to be fixed in Future versions I know that SaX2 is no more.
