[opensuse-kernel] broken rt61pci driver in 11.2 kernels 30 / 31 /32
Installed suse 11.2 config the wifi card no internet reboot lsmod no tr61pci changed fastboot to normal same result Installed the 11.1 kernel 2.6.26.25.3 lsmod gives tr61pci and i have internet so take the ralink drivers from that kernel put them in 31.x and give us a new kernel --- Robert Koendering Willemstad Curacao -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org

You mean "rt61pci", I suppose.
Installed the 11.1 kernel 2.6.26.25.3 lsmod gives tr61pci and i have internet

We cannot do this, sorry. But we can try to fix the driver. For that, we need the bug filled in bugzilla. Please make sure you've attached full dmesg and lspci -nn output in the bug. Hello Jiri i can make a entry in bugzilla but not with the 2.6.31.xx kernel because that gives me no internet so the dmesg wil be 2.6.2.6.25.3 as wil be lspci Will that do ??? 2009/11/16 Jiri Benc <jbenc@suse.cz>:

You can of course save the dmesg of the non-working kernel to file, and then attach it later when you have kernel with working connection again. -- Jiri Kosina SUSE Labs, Novell Inc. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
Made a report in bugzilla couldnot find it afterwards you know the problem here as attachment the dmesg + lspci in 1 file -- Robert Koendering Willemstad Curacao

There is a "My Reports" link at the bottom part of the page when you log in to bugzilla. When you find your report, please attach the output of lspci -nn (note the "-nn"). If you don't see your report, something got wrong and you'll need to fill it again. Also, from the dmesg you sent the rt61pci driver loads correctly. To be able to further debug the problem, also attach the output of the following commands: ifconfig -a iwconfig Let's continue in the bugzilla, this list is not the correct place to do debugging.
