[opensuse-kernel] Compilation Issue - grub-0.97-reiser4-20050808.tar
Hello I have two questions Q1. Have you a .spec file to compile this patched version of grub ? Q2. I am attempting to compile grub-0.97-reiser4-20050808.tar from [1] and get the following what needs to be installed to fix the error ? Hi Glenn, you're asking on the wrong list, opensuse-factory or opensuse-packaging would IMHO be the better place to do so. * doiggl@velocitynet.com.au (doiggl@velocitynet.com.au) [20120220 10:59]:

There are tools that aid in creating spec files. Why don't you ask over in opensuse-packaging?
configure: error: GRUB requires a working absolute objcopy; upgrade your binutils
It does tell you right there that you need a newer binutils package. Philipp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
