Hello! Could x32 kernel-default builds for openSUSE Leap 42.2 be enabled please? -- Best regards, Dmitriy Perlow R&D chemical engineer Lekpharm JLLC -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

The config is still not put for i586, since all initial configs were taken from SLE12-SP2. Now I need to adjust these configs at first. So, if any, i586 addition will be late. I just wonder, though, why do you need it now? i586 kernel won't be supported (officially) by Leap 42.2, as we didn't do it for 42.1, either. If i586 port is really maintained by volunteers, I'm willing to enable the i586 kernel config. How is the situation? I use Kernel:openSUSE-42.1' builds for my oS 13.1 x32. No arch specific bugs were observed. That is why I request the same for 42.2. Of course if it seems to take lots of additional humans activity I'll revoke it. PS Sorry for off-topic. For some reason publishing is enabled for i586 at Kernel:openSUSE-42.1 but there are no rpm's at mirror. Could anybody fix it please? -- Best regards, Dmitriy Perlow R&D chemical engineer Lekpharm JLLC -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

I tried to do a merge of SLE12-SP2 and openSUSE-42.1 configs using scripts I've been using for Evergeen 13.1 and 11.4. They will still need some manual work, however, e.g. i386/default and i386/pae are much more different than I would expect (but that seems to be inherited from openSUSE-42.1) and for some reason, xen is missing in i386/default. If you are interested, you can find the results in branch users/mkubecek/openSUSE-42.2/cfgmerge So far I only tried to build x86_64/default and boot it (it's running on my machine now). Thanks. I have also merged and already adjusted configs for x86_64 (and now ppc64le, too), but they aren't committed yet because the build fails without CONFIG_KEXEC_VERIFY_SIG (bsc#981375) I'll compare the results with yours later. Do you mean 32 bit or literally x32 ABI? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

Sorry for double meaning. I would like to get kernel-default-*.i586.rpm files i.e. i586 builds. -- Best regards, Dmitriy Perlow R&D chemical engineer Lekpharm JLLC -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
