I have one machine with USB totally non functional.

This repeats ad-nauseum with all usb ports, either in the usb 2 or usb 3 controller, I tried unplugging everything, rebooting etc.. no luck...

It seems to be an unfortunate coincidence... I thought I did something _really_ stupid before updating the kernel.. but no, after unplugging everything, resseting the CMOS, downgrading to a kernel stable and booting a clean live CD I get the same behavior..
