[opensuse-kernel] scripts/unpack-kernel.sh
Hi all, As far as I can see, scripts/unpack-kernel.sh can't deal with 3.x kernels, it assumes 3-digit versions so it worked only up to 2.6.39. If I'm right, and apparently nobody bothered enough to report or fix it, does it mean that nobody is using this script any longer? If this is the case then we should just drop it. -- Jean Delvare Suse L3 Support -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

Dropping existing scripts, what a blasphemy... Go ahead :), unless Jeff has objections. And please delete it in the scripts branch, so that the change propagates to all branches eventually. No problems from me there. I haven't used it in ages and have depended on exporting the -rc trees from git when needed. -Jeff -- Jeff Mahoney SUSE Labs
