Hi all,
A reminder: if you have not added things to https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Major_features please do so!
And go over it to review what's there if you can.
I noticed "Ext4 introduces the embedding of very small files in the inode." Last time I looked e2fsprogs in Factory did not include version capable of enabling it. Did it change? Is it now enabled by default? This may be a problem as grub2 does not support it (I have a patch hanging around though ...) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

I noticed "Ext4 introduces the embedding of very small files in the inode." Last time I looked e2fsprogs in Factory did not include version capable of enabling it. Did it change? Is it now enabled by default? I don't think so. AFAIK a stable version of e2fsprogs with support for that feature hasn't been released yet.
This may be a problem as grub2 does not support it (I have a patch hanging around though ...) The feature as such is stable so feel free to merge the support into grub2. The earlier it gets there the easier it will be for users.
