[opensuse-kernel] TW kernel-devel and kernel-$flavor-devel are overwritten
I just did update TW from 4.7.6 to 4.8.6 and both kernel-devel and kernel-default-devel were overwritten. Both provide multiversion(kernel) and default zypp.conf enables multiversioning in this case. Is it expected? I do not have version 4.7.6 installed, so may be it lacked multiversion provides? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

There haven't been any recent changes to the multiversion provides. What does multiversion.kernels in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf contain? Thanks, Michal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel) multiversion.kernels = latest,latest-1 I do have latest and previous versions of kernel-default, but only one latest version of kernel-devel and kernel-default-devel. I'll watch during next update. It is possible that kernel-devel was installed later, so I picked up newer version already. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

/var/log/zypp/history will have an answer to this. Michal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

I checked on another system and here it correctly keeps previous versions. Sorry for the noise :( -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
