[opensuse-kernel] New package schema for kernel-source
Is it intended that only the noarch.rpm with the kernel-source was updated today in ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/HEAD/x86_64 but the -devel.rpm with the configuration files hasn't been updated from 2.6.29- master_20090331140119_768f098d to 2.6.29-master_20090402214554_88d83597 ? I think at least the extraversion tag needs to be updated in the config files for every release. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org

I've been working with the packaging process and that's been causing build failures. kernel-source is very simple to build - it only depends on the patches applying and then packaging up whatever's there. The binary packages have more complex spec files and we're working out the kinks again. So there's an updated kernel source because it's succeeding, but the binaries are failing. - -Jeff - -- Jeff Mahoney SUSE Labs -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAknWSx4ACgkQLPWxlyuTD7KnaQCfZxDXfQE0Aqga43JEz7/YVl4i 9xIAn3DHsfFGZqxDUNvy3FlmuMQEJILD =RL30 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
