Does the system suspends and resume correctly ? have you installed the latest possible BIOS update from DELL ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

Bios is unfortunately the last one proposed by DELL. A15 for Dell Precision M4600 if suspend & hibernate look like they worked, Resume = absolute catastrophe since I use nouveau. suspend to ram work if I first disconnect the display port external monitor. resume could then work, but most of the time I got a freeze with xorg. resume from hibernate is now unusable. For résumé, this computer has work perfect with openSUSE 12.1, 12.2, 12.3+nvidia Since I use 12.3 + nouveau (and kernel-stable) or openSUSE 13.1 with kernel-stable since december I've a lot of those kind of trouble. ps: before hitting enter key, I've rechecked (conscious) what I've seen on Dell website 4 days ago. Guess what, A new bios is there stamped on January 17th :-) I will put that one, and report feedback. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
Bios A16 = no changes Same acpi warning and errors. even if ACPI OS_Level 0.0.1 is noted in the changelog. :-( -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
