[opensuse-kernel] opensuse kernel patch propagation
Hi, What is the current workflow of the patch propagation from linux mainline to openSUSE stable kernel versions? are the downstream openSUSE kernels rebased against the latest mainline kernel version? if so, how soon? Also, what is the difference between the patch propagation for the current supported openSUSE kernel versions. i.e if 15.0 and 15.1 are currently being supported, are the same upstream patches applied to both kernel versions or is there a difference? In, tumbleweed, yes, very soon: at most days to get into the sourcerepo, submitted to OBS right after that. When QA is not screaming, it means at most week to have the kernel in TW.

15.1 gets everything from 15.0. 15.1 might have (and has) more patches on the top of that. regards, -- js suse labs -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
