Btw, should we make a new thread about this 2.6.31-rc4?
After updating to the .31rc4 my X doesn't start (but it works in failsafe); if I run sax2 -r it freezes (the screen, I can still input stuff even though it's not shown), but here's the error log: http://francis.giannaros.org/temp/SaX.log -- any ideas?
I also have another issue about this kernel. It succeeded to boot, GUI ran well, but I it failed to run 'wvdial' to my 3G Modem.
I have ZTE USB 3G Modem[0], worked fine on last kernels (default openSUSE 11.1 kernel, and 2.6.30-2).
The log after I launch 'usb_modeswitch': http://pastebin.ca/1511751
'wvdial': http://pastebin.ca/1511759
and the kernel is 2.6.31-rc4-4-default
Any clues, please?
usb-serial devices don't work very well in 2.6.31-rc4, it will be fixed in the next release. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
