Hi guys,
Is there any chance that the .30 kernel will be backported to openSUSE 11.1, perhaps in the OBS? In general building the factory kernel for the current stable distribution could allow a lot of people to give it extensive testing, so it might really help. No idea if it would require too much work
Hm, can you try taking the current FACTORY kernel and running it on 11.1? Are there dependancies that cause this to not work right now?
I expect wireless will not work - the regdb (?) needs to be compiled for 11.1 at least, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
