I am now successfully building kernel rpms for all required flavours and additionally the generic kernel- source and kernel-devel packages. Maybe you can also provide me with a hint regarding adding another kernel flavour. I created a custom flavour adding another configuration to config.conf and providing the configuration in config/i386/newflavour. scripts/tar-up.sh executes "cd kernel-source; ./mkspec". I will then get "warning: no description for kernel-newflavour found" Adding an appropriate section to kernel-source/package-descriptions does not help. Where I am supposed to provide the package description texts for new flavours? Are you interested in trivial patches which mainly improve documentation for newbies to SuSE kernel development?
