No, no binary rpms installed at all , only kernel-source-2.6.27-HEAD_20081010035644.x86_64.rpm, then copied linux-2.6.27-HEAD_20081010035644-obj/x86_64/default/.config to .config and build the kernel with "make oldconfig && make -j4 && make modules_install && make install" using gcc-Version 4.3.1 20080507 (prerelease) [gcc-4_3-branch revision 135036] (SUSE Linux). This is the same procedure, I'am using for all KOTDs. and which was sucessful for 2.6.27-rc9.HEAD_20081009181916.
Hm, I really don't know, sorry. Can you try one of the binary rpms?
Which packages ? It seems that they are missing due to the build problems.
Heh, fair enough, please wait a few hours, the cron jobs have now been restarted...
Just a short status report for the new 2.6.27-HEAD_20081013133112: binary kernel-vanilla works, selfcompiled kernel has the same problem as 2.6.27-HEAD_20081010035644, no binary kernel-default package available yet.
Care to just file a bug for this, I think other people are starting to see it as well. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
