Howdy all,
I´ve compiled the current rc5 of Linux 3.2 last night and tried it. Unfortunately, the graphical results (how kdm was looking, e.g.) were very bad.
Since I´m totally lazy, I would be glad to get rid of the configuration part of the kernel compilation.
Linux 3.1.0-1.2-desktop works very fine on my system. So, my question is, if there is a .config file for exactly that kind of configuration. I searched the kernel-desktop package of 11.3 in OBS, but I haven´t found something, so I might should ask the kernel gods here.
You can always boot and get the config file from /proc/config.gz
Or look in the kernel-source rpm package, it's in there as well.
Oh, it's also in /boot/config* also. greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
