I thought I saw a user@ service file while running TW, but perhaps not, rummaging around in 42.1, I don't see one (and user@0 is root), so seems there's now no canned group scheduling option, userspace or kernelspace.
BTW, the user@ service does exist, I just went temporarily blind. I tried to check it out, but it doesn't seem to want to do anything at all for a normal user. For root, it'll set up cgroups (whether you like it or not unless you mask the bloody thing), but everything lands in one bucket, so it's fairly useless. For those who routinely run hefty batch jobs, it's trivial to create cgroups and use cgexec to launch them, so no big deal. -Mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
