Sorry, resent to the list in plain text format: Greg, I have not yet. I was taking steps to learn the best way to get it resolved. I can do that now. I also could possibly someone a SSH connection to look over the server with a user load. The magic number seems to be over about 10-15 concurrent users. We have an OpenSuse 11.3 server which is being hammered in a very similar fashion and is working like a champ. Will fill out a bug report shortly with as much information as I can gather. Thanks guys. Dave On Thu, 2011-08-18 at 09:59 -0700, Greg KH wrote:

Dave, Thanks for the ideas, those issues have already been eliminated. I kind of am aware of the problem areas that arise and already changed them. I am only using NFS3 (4 gave us some problems), and already turned off IPv6
Have you filed a bug about your issue so we can try to work on it that way?
thanks,
