Please look at the attached photo of my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop screen which shows an early crash where nothing gets written into the log file. The only boot option (besides the ones which grub doesn't display in the start-up screen) is the standard `vga=0x31a'.
Is this a known problem? If I add `acpi=off' to the command line I can boot just fine (at high costs, of course).
Known bug, see the opensuse-factory list for details about this, and a pointer to a fixed kernel. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
