Hi openSUSE-kernel team,
I would like to send the fix-patch for the Lenovo wireless (primax) keyboards which have a hardware bug reporting of their HID info, etc. I could (and do duly) apply it to every kernel update, however it is quite a nuisance (because the fix involves changes to the hid-core unit and requires the entire kernel recompilation).
Is it possible to integrate this fix into next releases? The patch (applied and tested on kernel-4.4.126_48_default) is attached. It is an adjusted version of the original patch found at: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/377830/linux-hid-driver-for-primax-...

The "right" procedure is to submit this fix to upstream. If it's difficult, just open a bug report. We have a HID upstream maintainer in house, at least ;) thanks, Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
