Checked a couple of other boxes. Just to be clear,

With the 4.15.3 release, all the machines that got upgraded to 4.15.13-2.g950fc49-default are booting fine.

Any that got updated today, after the flurry of commits at

https://github.com/openSUSE/kernel/commits/stable?after=65f5b6872e2fcbee113c...

to 4.15.13-2.g12abbef-default fail to boot -- dropping to dracut emergency shell.
