[Bug 1181035] New: File error during package update of sof-firmware
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1181035 Bug ID: 1181035 Summary: File error during package update of sof-firmware Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: duncansreeves@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I currently have sof-firmware version 1.6~rc3-3.1. I ran a zypper dup, and it tried to update it to version 1.6-1.1. It throws this error: Error: Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: error: unpacking of archive failed on file /lib/firmware/intel/sof-tplg: cpio: File from package already exists as a directory in system As far as I'm aware I've never manually changed anything inside the firmware directory. It appears like this may be a packaging bug? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
