In the BIOS, I can see the Secure Boot option as "Enabled" but it is greyed out
and I am not able to modify it. Looking further in the BIOS, I found two
Advanced options: AMD-SVM (secure virtualization machine) and AMD-IOMMU (its
help says: virtualization function). I disabled these two and booted the
system, hoping that it could help. However, in the Yast Network module, I only
can see the network card as before. Switching to the Overview tab, it says:
"Network is currently handled by NetworkManager or completely disabled. YaST is
unable to configure some options". The plasma widget for network connections
still appears but it remains empty as before.
