[Bug 1217314] New: [LenovoX13s] Unable to boot from USB
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1217314 Bug ID: 1217314 Summary: [LenovoX13s] Unable to boot from USB Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: aarch64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: guillaume.gardet@arm.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: chester.lin@suse.com Target Milestone: --- Found By: --- Blocker: --- On the Lenovo X13s laptop, we are able to boot DVD ISO from USB and install openSUSE Tumbleweed on a 2nd USB stick, but on reboot, the system hangs after grub loaded kernel+initrd. Live images and JeOS images are not able to boot from USB either. Fedora wiki suggests to blacklist 'modprobe.blacklist=qcom_q6v5_pas' to keep the USB from being reset/renamed. [0] But this does not work in my tests. [0]: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Thinkpad_X13s#Rawhide_hacking -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
