These warnings disappear starting with kernel 5.4, so this problem has been fixed. Is it possible to backport this fix? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Are you sure that the issue is gone with 5.4 kernel?
Sorry for the long time without a reply, couldn't check earlier. I checked again on Ubuntu 20.04.1 with kernel 5.4.0-42 and the error is present, it's just not visible in the boot logs. But there is no bug in kernel 5.8. I don't know if this will help, but there is a third-party fix, I haven't tested it https://github.com/erpalma/throttled Same issue with Kaby Lake and Leap 15.2 https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/548200-Core-temperature-above-thr... Could it be a sensor issue? https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Fedora/T14-AMD-temp11-shows-constant-readings/m... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
