I compared the difference between 2.04-lp152.7.15.1 and 2.04-lp152.7.12.1, and there is only one patch added: https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/openSUSE:Leap:15.2:Update/grub2... The patch forced "linux" command to use "linuxefi" first and then the original "linux".
