[Bug 1208239] Driver for Intel Alder Lake-UP3 GT2 [UHD Graphics] -- HDMI not properly recognized
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208239 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208239#c16 --- Comment #16 from Patrik Jakobsson <patrik.jakobsson@suse.com> --- Sorry for the late reply, I ended up in bed with a cold. The logs doesn't contain the information I expected. I wonder if drm logging has changed recently. I need to investigate. If the i915 driver is not loaded for your GPU then there will be no hardware acceleration for video playback or your desktop environment. Everything will run on the CPU. And since this is a mobile platform it will be slow. If we get the GPU driver working properly I would assume that things will be fast again. However, since the ACER CB282K is not working in Windows, I don't suspect we can get it to work in Linux either. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
