[Bug 1190414] New: Laptop randomly went to sleep
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1190414 Bug ID: 1190414 Summary: Laptop randomly went to sleep Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: sb56637@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hi there, I'm running openSUSE Tumbleweed on a new laptop, it's a generic Intel whitebook, model LAPQC71A, for some reason called "NUC 9 Extreme". It's mostly all Intel components with the exception of the Nvidia discreet graphics, but I don't use that and always run just the Intel UMA graphics. For some reason it went to sleep on me unexpectedly (suspend to RAM) 45 minutes into a Zoom meeting. I had my mic and camera active at the time. Apart from that it seemed to be behaving normally, wasn't abnormally hot. I was able to quickly resume from it. I'm trying to figure out if it was a hardware or a software quirk. I don't have much to go by, but I'm attaching the dmesg and journalctl from the last boot and since the Zoom call started, which started around 16:40 and the unexpected sleep event seems to have occurred around 17:24. I'd appreciate any more insight you might have. Thanks a lot! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
