[Bug 1201845] mt7921e 0000:03:00.0: driver own failed
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1201845 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1201845#c12 --- Comment #12 from Atri Bhattacharya <badshah400@gmail.com> --- Created attachment 861675 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=861675&action=edit journal output from failed session OK I see, the kernel does not 'oops' indeed; however, the driver failure apparently stops everything from working... even `halt` does not work and I had eventually do the Alt+SysRq+B sequence to reboot. That the latter worked is perhaps further proof that the kernel does not indeed crash, nevertheless for all intents and purposes the session is irrecoverably dead. Would be nice if when the wifi driver failed, I could still safely power the machine off. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
