There is at least one known i915 regression, and it's been handled in bsc#1217282.

A test kernel with the fix patch backport is found in OBS home:tiwai:bsc1217282 repo: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tiwai:/bsc1217282/standard/

If it's the same problem, this test kernel should work. Please give it a try.
