@Gerald 4GB of a dump is a lot for Bugzilla. Can you create a directory in your Box at IBM and give R?diger access (via email invitation) for one day? The box is the better place for uploads with such a size.
I received the 4GB dump via the link you send by mail. It does not contain any dump at all. It is a tarball containing this: total 4644064 -rw-r----- 1 geraldsc geraldsc 62914560000 Jun 12 23:14 root -rw-r----- 1 geraldsc geraldsc 799118829 Jun 15 11:11 STATEFILE.gz -rw-r----- 1 geraldsc geraldsc 2097152000 Jun 12 23:10 swap I have no idea what to do with that. A proper dump would contain a vmcore plus a vmlinux with debuginfo. Please just attach the kernel dmesg output here, so that we have a chance to at least see why the kernel thinks that that the pages are bad. I assume that your log only contains the "Bad page state" warnings because of loglevel settings, those are printed with KERN_ALERT, while the (important) rest is printed with KERN_WARNING loglevel. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
