http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1184077 Bug ID: 1184077 Summary: on 20210320 I got a BTRFS error on boot Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: miguel@rozsas.eng.br QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/90.0.4430.40 Safari/537.36 Build Identifier: I was in 20210220 fully updated and everything is working. I decided to upgrade to 20210320. Everything went fine during the (very long) update process. After the first boot the system drops in emergency mode and two errors: Lets focus on the BTRFS error. I will open another one related to nouveau error. As I am at emergency mode, I couldn't take a proper screenshot, so please, check the photo of boot screen: https://imgur.com/a/QQMQieQ and a wide view: https://imgur.com/a/OUPC7kw Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.When 20210320 was released (I was on 20200220, delayed as much as possible, due some important job in progress), I update the system: "zypper dist-upgrade --allow-vendor-change" 2.Boot to the new system 3. The system drops in emergency mode shell. Just above the login prompt you can see BTRFS Errors. Actual Results: The system does not boot properly, given BTRFS errors. Please check this photo from boot screen: https://imgur.com/a/QQMQieQ and another one wide view: https://imgur.com/a/OUPC7kw Expected Results: A working system. Using the snapshot rollback feature, I manage to switch back to the previous system (20200220) and everything is fine, no BTRFS errors. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
