[Bug 1190190] kmod: manpage of modprobe.d not correctly rendered
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1190190 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1190190#c12 --- Comment #12 from Thomas Schraitle <thomas.schraitle@suse.com> --- (In reply to Michal Suchanek from comment #11)
I think conversion to docbook 5 is not worth the hassle.
Sure, just wanted to give you an alternative. :))
I can skip the superfluous changes but the build still complains about soms missing document metadata which I don't know how to fabricate:
XSLT modinfo.8 Note: meta manual : no titled ancestor of refentry modinfo Note: meta manual : no refentry/refmeta/refmiscinfo@class=manual modinfo Note: meta manual : see http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/refmi modinfo Warn: meta manual : no fallback for manual, so inserted a fixme modinfo
I've downloaded the modinfo.xml from https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/utils/kernel/kmod/kmod.git/tree/man/modprobe.... and transformed it to manpage. I haven't seen these messages. (Using docbook-xsl-stylesheets package version 1.79.2) I'd recommend to use this structure after </refentryinfo>: <refmeta> <refentrytitle>TOOLNAME</refentrytitle> <manvolnum>MANPAGE_VOLUME</manvolnum> </refmeta> If I have such a fragment, I don't get any warning message. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
